Greetings!  

 

Please join us this Friday June 15th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at 15th St. Gallery for Salt Lake Gallery stroll and artist reception. John will be exhibiting in a group exhibition with local art favorite,Trent Call and the emerging talent of Paris Gerrard. Exhibition runs through July 14th.

John brings his live painting performance to the venue, (this is his third iteration) collaborating with Call and Gerrard to paint a large scale work incorporating the unique visual style of each artist. Strollers can participate by posing in front of the canvas during the painting. After the performance each artist will take a portion of the canvas back to their studios to complete a final piece of work which will be on display prior to the show closing on July 14th. Can't wait to see the finished pieces! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
UMOCA Presents Play Me, I'm Yours

Bell's Piano  

Bell participates in the international public art sensation Play Me,I'm Yours hosted by The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, where pianos are painted by Utah's premiere contemporary artists and placed in the public spaces of downtown Salt Lake City for two brief weeks. Members of the public and closet musicians alike are invited to sit down and play these wonderful pianos.

This is your chance to add song to the urban buzz and turn bustling streets into an improvised concert hall.  Opening reception at UMOCA this Friday June 15th.  View map  of piano locations and link to upload photos and stories. Pianos displayed from June 15th - June 30, 2012.
