 Bell returns to Miami for the third consecutive year exhibiting several signature pieces of work at the Aqua Art Fair, December 2 - 5, 2010 at the Aqua Hotel, Room 205. A preview opening will be sponsored by Modern Painters on December 1st. It marks the second installation at Aqua with dealer Luky Cancio of Cancio Contemporary, Miami/New York.
Aqua Art contemporary art fair takes place in Miami every December concurrent with Art Basel Miami Beach. This year the fair returns to its roots at the Aqua Hotel where it was first launched in 2005.
Luky Cancio comments about Bell. "The work is infused with a heightened awareness of social issues. Bell is preoccupied with human thought and condition. The composition of the work is seemingly casual, but the careful balance of elements aligns with the poignant commentary. This POP inspired artist has intentionally evolved into his own. A unique artist who has mastered a flawless body of work on paper and one who is equally precise with mixed media works on canvas".

About Cancio Contemporary
Miami-based Cancio Contemporary was founded by Luky Cancio in 2003 who is a private dealer, art consultant and independent curator working in Miami and New York. Cancio Contemporary represents international contemporary, emerging and mid-career artists working in various mediums from painting, photography, and sculpture. Cancio has exhibited her stable of artists extensively at major international art fairs including; Art Miami, Aqua (Miami) AAF, (New York). Working with both a national and international collector base, she has placed countless art works in both private and corporate collections. Many of her artist's work have been placed in the MOLAA, Museum of Latin American Art and the Marguiles Collection (Miami) and sold at Sloan's Auction House (Maryland) and ARCIA (Aids Research) auctions.
During her career as a private dealer and independent curator, she has curated several notable exhibitions for Hardcore, and Warehouse NOW galleries (Miami), and the Bergman Collection (Miami), and has organized many educational art salons throughout the city. Her curatorial acumen has been sought after for several exhibitions during Art Basel, Miami.
Cancio Contemporary has received numerous press acknowledgements in Art in America, Art News, New York Magazine, The Lead, (Miami), Interior Design, Luxe Magazines, (Chicago) and the Los Angeles-based 944 magazine.

Based in Seattle, Aqua's organizers have made it their mission to promote innovative programming from the west coast as well as the greater USA and abroad, with a particular interest in young dealers and galleries with strong emerging artist programs. A number of new dealers have made their debut at Aqua, as well as other exhibitors and artists who have never shown at an art fair before. |
