On June 10, the Salt Lake County public art Board of Directors voted unanimously on the acquistion of Bell's, the elegant universe, #1 painting for the county's public art collection. Bell's painting was one of three purchased. Salt Lake County has one of the largest collections of museum-quality artwork on exhibit by the state's best artists. It will
be on permanent public display at the Salt Lake County Government Center located at 2001 So. State St. A public reception is scheduled for the fall.

Bell unveils an ultra modern sculpture
disguised as a miniature golf hole for The Salt Lake Art Center, Contemporary Masters artist-designed mini golf exhibition.The piece was created in a collaborative effort with local metal-master and Bell's long-time, friend Del Yates.
 
The exhibition
features 18 fully-playable works of contemporary art from Utah and national artists. Exhibtion runs through September 16th.

The sculpture  entitled, pissing in the wind, will challenge viewers to try to putt the ball in the alloted 6 strokes, a feat,Salt Lake Art Center Director Adam Price calls "par infinity".

:: Brett Wesley Contemporay exhibition update
"The Burden of Ambition", Bell's solo exhibition was viewed by over 2,000 people during the 3 day long opening June 2nd - June 4th at Brett Wesely Contemporary in Las Vegas. The exhibition runs through
July 29th.

The marquee painting of the exhibition a place where troubles all melt like lemon drops was sold to an ardent collector of Bell's work virtually before it was unpacked from the crate.
