With the archery elk season and archery fall turkey seasons behind us, there are many tales to be told and pictures to share! Bring yours to the monthly DCA meeting and join in for some fellowship and snacks!
There will be a Bible study so bring your Bible along!
The Arizona Game and Fish
Department is attempting to be more involved and visible with our various
sportsman conservation groups. Amber Munig has been asked to be the liaison with DCA and plans to be at this meeting! This is a positive step for the Department to be taking and shows their willingness to hear the concerns of Sportsman's Groups around the state!

The drawing for the lucky winners of the 2009 Arizona Big Game Super Raffle was held on July 19th.
A big thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket, our sponsoring
organizations, and all the volunteers who worked tirelessly. A special

Desert Christian Archers
Used Archery Equipment
Many
members of Desert Christian Archers are fanatical about their archery
tackle, to the point of being a little crazy! But, this is a good thing
if you might be in the market for some new tackle or gear for the
upcoming archery seasons. There has been everything from used camo
clothing, trail cameras, arrows, bows, binos, ranger finders etc. So
now you have the picture?
Many times the money from the sale of
some of the smaller items is donated to the DCA you can get a good deal
and at the same time support the organization. |
Who are the "Desert Christian Archers"  We are a chapter of the Christian Bowhunters of America formed in 2001, we are governed by a Board of Directors (5). Our hopes are to create a venue in which to meet and share common interest such as; our Lord, the Bible, bowhunting, and developing and growing friendships.
What do the "Desert Christian Archers" do?
We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in room 204 at Calvary Community Church.
We have had many great Bible studies, some taught by members and others by visiting Pastors. We have sponsored hunting seminars on many species and have been treated to some great speakers such as Randy Ulmer, Marvin Robbins, Corky Richardson, Steve Chappel, Dave Conrad, Brian Wakling, Dave Myrick and Fred Cronk! These are some of the best in their field!
