Articles and Awards
Inn at Loreto Bay has earned bronze status under the Green Globe benchmarking  program administered by the international environmental advisory group EC3 Global. To achieve bronze status, the Inn has implemented an integrated envirionmental and social policy and is committed to benchmarking its energy and water consumption, total waste production and community involvement. Ink!

Jake's Resort - Treasure Beach, Jamaica

Editor's Note: As of this writing we are still trying to determine whether it was Vogue Magazine or Elle that first dubbed Jake's "The Chicest Shack in the Caribbean." We'll let you know when we get the answer, and until then suffice it to say that Sarah Ferguson, Joni Mitchell and Ursula Andress all think it's pretty great. - Evelyn
 Jake's Resort in Treasure Beach is a boutique resort on Jamaica's undeveloped south coast. Theatrical designer Sally Henzell incorporated Moroccan elements into the 30 cheerfully colored accommodations, which range from villas to oceanfront and garden cottages. All units are beautifully appointed EXCEPT for the absence of televisions and phones. But don't worry: there is a media room, and wireless Internet access in all public areas for those who need to stay connected.
Two
restaurants serve fresh seafood and authentic Jamaican cuisine. For a completely unique experience guests can take a Black River Safari or stop in at the world-famous Pelican Bar. The Driftwood Spa offers a full range of spa treatments, including international therapies and some that are completely unique to the Caribbean. Jake's
is the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, a spiritual retreat or an
adventure.
Current special offers include a stay 5/pay 4 package with a complimentary 30-minute massage and a free bottle of wine upon arrival. Valid through December 14, 2008.
