Jewish New Year
This year our congregation spent the night in Bedouin Tents in the Negev Desert. Before sunset we climbed Masada where we learned about the Jewish people who had to stand in faith against an army so that they could worship the one true God. We want to encourage you all to make a fresh commitment to the God of Israel in this new and challenging year.

Yom Kippur
Our families attended a conference in Jerusalem with representatives from over 150 nations including Iran, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. David brought a word to the gathering about the need to be a prophetic voice calling the nations back to faith in the one true God. Michaella gave an anointed rendition of "Jerusalem of Gold" on her golden flute. It was a special time of fellowship and reconciliation with our Arab brothers from around the Middle East.

Feast of Tabernacles
During the Feast we took the congregation's children for hikes around the rugged Judean mountains to learn first-hand about trusting God in the "hard places." On the final evening of the feast we hosted a group of young Chinese Christians that had performed at the
Beijing Olympics. With a performance of drum, singing and traditional Chinese instruments they gave testimony to God's love for His people before the crowd of hundreds who came to watch from our neighborhood.

Art School
Our Art School semester is drawing to a close the end of
November. Twenty-five full and part-time students are having many amazing experiences. They performed a new song at a conference in
Jerusalem called "The Lion Of Judah" that Michaella wrote. They are meeting people from almost every nation on earth. Our students are designing 3 book covers for a competition in Italy, learning how to make
movies, run a recording studio, play classic guitar, piano, bass
guitar, sing, dance and all from a biblical perspective designed to bring
new understanding to the arts in their lives and in the
world. The fruit has been that many have rededicated their lives to
serving the God of Israel through their artistic gifts in Israel and in the
nations.
