THE RULES OF THE ROAD
Saint Paul second, third, fourth, and fifth graders recently got a review of the road rules for safe bike riding. Following an in-house presentation, the four grades headed out to the Bicycle Safety Facility ("Safety Town") in Elk Grove Township. There they were able to get some hands-on practice on bikes as they rode around the park, challenging themselves to remember the rules for railroad crossings, one-way streets, four-way intersections, and various other signs and situations.  Kids had a lot of fun!  And the administrators and volunteers at the facility commended the students on remembering to wear their helmets. Way to go Saint Paul kids!
