| DNA Day with the Salk Institute |
It's sometimes
referred to as "the blueprint for life." Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) carries
the genetic instructions for all life as we know it! Scientists from The Salk Institute will be on-hand to help
you explore DNA. Come see larger
than life models of DNA and learn how this amazing molecule helps to determine
your own physical characteristics.
You can also perform experiments to isolate DNA right before your eyes -
then take the DNA home with you as a souvenir of your visit.
