Push, pull, lift, stop, go, drop and bounce your way to discovering more about how the world works in this camp designed to complement our "Motion Mania" exhibition. Topics explored each day range from "Circus Science" to "Balls, Bats, and Bungees." Campers may sign up for a single day or enroll for the entire week.

NEW! Second Planetarium Show Added to "The Sky Tonight"
|
An 8:00 p.m. show has been added to our popular "The Sky Tonight" planetarium show series. Now, you can join us on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. to view the San Diego sky as it appears on the night of the planetarium show and learn about special topics in astronomy directly from a live astronomer. To give you the most optimal viewing experience, seating is limited to 250 people per show. Advance online ticket purchase is recommended if you would like to guarantee a seat at a particular time. Galileo's Café will also stay open until 7:45 p.m. so you can grab a delicious and healthy dinner before the planetarium show. "The Sky Tonight" is 45 minutes long.

Join the Fleet for our monthly presentation of an IMAX film in Spanish. Witness the Earth at its most powerful. FORCES OF NATURE showcases the awesome spectacle of earthquakes, volcanoes and severe storms, as well as the scientists who study them.

Star Party with NASA Special Guest and SDAA

In collaboration with the 2010 San Diego Science Festival, we will host a "Star Party" where visitors of all ages will have the chance to peer at the universe through large telescopes, rub elbows with NASA engineers and preview the new IMAX film, HUBBLE. Following the film, the San Diego Astronomy Association will host "Star Viewing" outside on the Prado.
