Reuben H. Fleet Science Center's Tinkering Exhibit
Tinker Away!
Now open in the Fleet's Main Exhibit Gallery, "Tinkering" is our newest exhibition, with more than 20 hands-on exhibits that use pulleys, electrical circuits, turntables, paper airplanes, bicycle wheels, wind tunnels, animation systems, and more to bring out the "inner inventor" in everyone. The exhibition also features a 600 square-foot, workshop-style "Tinkering Studio," where inventive minds of all ages can use household items (spools, corks, CDs, boxes, etc.) to build catapults, robots, roller coasters, and infinitely more.
Longer Hours, More Stars
Ticket CounterExtended summer hours are here, along with another planetarium show!  Starting July 1, the Fleet Science Center will stay open until 8 p.m. every night except Friday-when we're open until 9 p.m!  Due to popular demand we've added a second showing of our popular planetarium presentation, The Sky Tonight. Now you can explore the cosmos at 7 or 8 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month.
