Stem Cells: New Sources and New Questions

 Join us at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 (just before the planetarium show) for this exciting panel discussion. Featuring three UCSD professors who are recognized as leaders in addressing the scientific and ethical implications of stem cell research, this free public lecture will highlight the recent developments in new technologies for deriving stem cells. Flight 42 to Mars - Now Boarding

 We're opening our Nierman Challenger Learning Center to the public! Bring your friends, family or just yourself for a fun 2-hour simulated mission to the Red Planet using our exciting spaceflight simulators. Then at 4 p.m., step into our Lecture Hall to watch live (via satellite) coverage of NASA's Mars Phoenix Lander as it touches down on the Martian surface.
