Photo Contest Winner
The Cog is pleased to announce
that the Grand Prize winner of the Summer Photo Contest
is Bradley P. Stenstrom of Greenacres, FL.
The winner receives a White Mountains Vacation for his family
which includes tickets to all White Mountain Attractions,
plus a 3-night stay at the
Historic Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods.
"This photograph was taken by my late Father-in-Law (R. H. Loomis - Windsor, CT)
in August 1966 while he and his wife Jean had taken their two daughters Beth
(Arlington, MA) & Dale (Concord, NH) to Mount Washington. Jean passed away
in 1980 and Raymond in 2007. Their daughters live in New Hampshire and
Massachusetts now. Please post this photo in memory of their
parents."

 Commemorative "Old Peppersass" Whiskey Decanter produced for Old Mr. Boston Distillers. It contained Old Mr. Boston Canadian Whiskey - Aged 6 Years. The bottle's underside is marked "OMB, Liquor Bottle, No-85, 1978, Royal Halburton China".
The bottle reads "World's First Climbing Engine 1869-1978", "Peppersass", "Mt. Washington Cog Railway" and "6288 Feet to Top", It still has the Old Mr. Boston Whiskey label and most of the paper seal.
