Friends of the Cog - A Free Ticket to the Past

Passengers on the Mount Washington Cog Railway this summer will get a little something extra when they purchase their ticket to ride.

In partnership with our friends at the New Hampshire Historical Society, a free ticket to the society's museum will be included with each ticket sold for an excursion on the Cog Railway this summer.

Friends of the Cog PictureOn display as part of the historical society's current exhibit, entitled New Hampshire Favorites, is a lovely example of 19th century decorative coach scroll painting of Old Peppersass, the steam engine that first chugged its way to the top of Mount Washington in 1869.
