Certainly, suicide is a significant problem in Gwinnett County and Georgia. Suicide affects youth (is the third leading cause of death in 10-24 years age group after accidents and homicides), adults, seniors (elderly have the highest overall suicide rate of all age groups) including all races, religions, and social backgrounds.
The good news is that suicide can be prevented! With this in mind, The Gwinnett Suicide Prevention Coalition will meet on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the new facilities of the Prevention Department of CETPA located at:
CETPA - Prevention Department
1750 Young Ct. Suite D
Norcross, GA 30093
Your valuable contribution can help prevent and reduce suicides and suicide attempts. Please honor us with your presence and feel free to contact me at any time.
Breakfast will be provided.
Warm regards,
