The Lower Susquehanna Synod announces
The Year of ReFORMation

Bishop's Convocation 2012 - Fall 2013
a year of reforming our life together as synod
The synod council and bishop's office announce a year-long plan called the "Year of ReFORMation." The purpose of this plan is to stir up conversation and discernment around core questions:
- What should synod be about?
- How can we claim a Lutheran identity in a changing world?
- What is God calling all of us to be and do in the future as church together?
The Year of ReFORMation, beginning with the Bishop's Convocation for rostered and lay leaders:
- Provides 14 listening posts on the territory of this synod for synod leadership to hear your thoughts and prayers about the core questions;
- Leads into two conference assemblies, January - April, where more conversation will happen;
- Prepares us for the election of a bishop in June;
- Facilitates continuing conversation through an online blog; and more!
