Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Gardners, is seeking an organist for a one-year term, with possibility of extension. Duties include providing organ leadership for Sunday morning worship and accompanying the choir at Thursday evening rehearsals. There are other special services of worship throughout the year (funerals, weddings, etc.). The congregation uses the Lutheran Book of Worship. Organist will often choose preludes, offertory music and postludes. Organist can work with committee to choose hymns. Salary is negotiable. Union Lutheran Church, York, is seeking a soprano soloist to sing with the adult choir. This is a paid position. The Adult Choir performs traditional SATB anthems on a weekly basis with piano/organ accompaniment or a capella. Musicians of high school age through adult are invited to audition for this position. The successful candidate will coordinate sales activities from the generation of a prospective resident lead to establishing an appointment, conducting a tour, and ultimately closing the sale and moving the resident onto the campus. Requirements for this position include a valid PA Driver's License, a bachelor's degree in a related field of study or a combination of experience and training/education.
