Vacation Bible School Opportunities |

St. Paul Lutheran Church (Sand Hill)
July 8-12
St. Paul Lutheran Church is offering a Vacation Bible School experience for ages 4 through 12. This adventure of song, crafts and Bible story begins Sunday, July 8, with a cookout at 5:30 PM. The program will continue Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. To register, call Anita Houseman at 717.533.3218 (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - noon). The church is located at 850 Hill Church Road, Hummelstown.

St. Matthew Lutheran Church in York is offering a Vacation Bible School experience for Ages 3 through Grade 6 and an adult class led by Pastor Kevin Shively. Each day the children will participate in singing with the St. Matthew Bible School Band, hear Bible stories, enjoy crafts and games and participate in a mission project. Learners may bring in supplies to make school kits for Lutheran World Relief and/or Church World Services. For more information, contact Miss Debbie at 717.845.2721. All are welcome.

 Question: What is one way congregations can work together to build up the body of Christ, be they small, large, or in-between?
Answer: Confirmation Camp!
Several confirmation camps operate on the territory of our synod. These joint ventures by congregations (20-30 each) work to strengthen the faith formation of our youth. Cooperatively, congregations can offer a week-long camp experience to reinforce what confirmation is about; sharing resources, rostered and lay leaders, and camp staff.
