Our deepest sympathy is extended to:
- Carol Krouse, synod staff, and her family. Carol's husband, Ed, died today after a long illness. Visitation time with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., FRIDAY, MAY 25, at Kuhner Funeral Home, 863 S. George St., York. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, May 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S. George Street, York. Messages of care and concern can be sent to: 754 Priority Road, York, PA 17404.
- The family of the Rev. William T. Walton. Pastor Walton, formerly rostered in the Lower Susquehanna Synod, died on Saturday, May 19. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Condolences can be sent to his family at Box 7, Gratz, PA 17030-0007.
Prayers for healing are requested for:
- Elizabeth McCarney, daughter of Bishop Howard and Ruth McCarney. Elizabeth is a patient at Hershey Medical Center.
- Roger Smith, Stewardship Staffperson for Region 8, ELCA (retired). Roger is a patient at Harrisburg Hospital.
The Rev. Peter Kuebler (St. John/Barner's, Liverpool) is grateful for prayers, calls and cards received during his recent hospital stay. |
