Free hearing test & free dental clinic for musicians  

Protect those ears!

Did you know that Local 802 regularly offers a hearing test? Our next free test takes place here at 322 West 48th Street on Wednesday, June 22. A professional audiologist will check your ears and create a baseline measurement for you. Reservations are required. Contact Robin Donach

Teeth time

Want your teeth to be their best? Local 802 is hosting a dental clinic on Thursday, June 23 from 9:30 to 4, here at 322 West 48th Street. It's free, but you must apply ahead of time, and there are certain eligibility requirements. Services will include a dental exam, simple cleaning and bitewing x-rays. For more information or to apply, call (877) 303-6962 or send an e-mail to RSVP_MCNY@grammy.com. Space is limited. The clinic is being sponsored by MusiCares, Smile New York and Local 802.

    

Your new online union profile

Announcing a major rollout of a new union benefit. You need to know about this!

Local 802 will be unveiling its new online portal and giving a demonstration of its use and features at the union's next membership meeting on Wednesday, June 15 at 5 p.m. at 322 West 48th Street.  

Members will now be able to view a personal snapshot of their union profile and history. In addition to viewing standard contact information, members will be able to check their union dues payment history, view listing of past engagements, find out what they owe in work dues and monitor their eligibility for the health fund.

Local 802 and the Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center present a Latin Night fundraiser with Bobby Sanabria & Ascension and M.C. Gabriel Romance. Friday, June 24, from 7 p.m. to midnight at 250 West 65th Street. Lessons begin at 7 p.m. Dancing begins at 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be sold. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
