Phone calls are the most effective tool for getting out the vote in the eighty percent of PA that is rural and cannot be easily canvassed. The Obama campaign is asking the New York Call Team to make 75,000 calls into PA in the next seven days.

Pre- K Program
 
City Council president Christine Quinn announced this week that there are 6000 all day pre-k slots opening for three and four year olds coming up in January.  Parents should call 311 for details on enrollment procedures.

Obama buttons like the one above were hung on a banner in the lobby of 802 starting on last Monday, with the notice "Take One, Help Yourself, Help All Of Us".  The building staff kept pinning up more and more buttons. Thanks guys. By noon Friday all 1000 buttons were taken!
