Affordable Housing for Artists!
ACT NOW

Single artists looking for affordable housing in Brooklyn have a shot at getting a spot at a studio apartment, with a rent of around $630 month. The housing project is being co-sponsored by the Actors' Fund and is located on Schermerhorn between Smith and Hoyt, in Brooklyn. You'll have to have an income of between approximately $18,500 and $30,000 to qualify as a tenant. The building plans to open in mid-2008, but you need to act immediately to get an application. Call the Actors' Fund's Schermerhorn House Hotline at (212) 221-7300, ext. 264.
