Are you tired of City Hall giving tax dollars to fat cats -- in the case of the Domain mall, Simon Development Group (the largest mall developer in the US!) -- while you or your business pay through the nose with no help whatsoever?

Is this what the mayor means by "keeping Austin weird?"

We don't think so either!

We need your help to send a clear message to City Hall through the SDS petition drive.

Here's what you can do:

1.  Work with us at tomorrow's First Thursday! Contact Linda Curtis, at:  ljcurtis@indytexans.orgor 657-2089.  You can also just come last minute, to our booth at Guero's Taco Bar in the patio area (1412 S. Congress, between Gibson & Elizabeth) anytime from 5 to 9 pm and just pitch in.

2.  Just go to the SDS web site and print out the materials on the front page.  Send Linda a note that you are getting signatures, so we can know how many folks and businesses are carrying petitions.  (We also want to publicize your business if you're carrying the petition).

PS  We will have a notary every Tuesday at Johnny Barnett's of Austin Unique's business lunch at Jovita's on S. 1st St. from 12-1.  Lunch is $10 all included.  Drop your petitions off there, or pick some up -- or call us and we'll send a notary to you.
