Global Asbestos Awareness Week
Quick Links

Join us for Global Asbestos Awareness Week (GAAW) on April 1 - 7, 2011 to raise asbestos awareness and prevent asbestos-caused diseases.  Over the course of seven days, we will share how asbestos impacts the citizens of the world.  Guest writers from Canada, Mexico, Japan, South America, India, UK, and beyond will continue to open our eyes to the devastating wake that asbestos is leaving behind.

Asbestos has impacted us individually, yet we are joined by a common bond. As a testament to the strength of our global family, during GAAW we will be highlighting the courageous stories of our members with our "Share Your Story," beginning by honoring the courageous story of Julie who will be presenting at our 7th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference on April 1-3 in Atlanta.

Finally, join us for our "Light a Candle" tradition on Friday, April 1 in memory of those we have lost and again on Monday, April 7 in honor of loved ones battling asbestos-related diseases. ADAO's strength depends on the collective activism of its supporters.  You can make a difference this week by joining our social media strategy, detailed below.  Please join us in for Global Asbestos Awareness Week and help save lives.  Linda Reinstein
