The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization is excited to announce details regarding this year's Global Asbestos Awareness Week (GAAW)! With the recent passage of Resolution 63 in the US Senate, April 1 - 7 is officially Asbestos Awareness Week.  And, with interest from numerous countries about how they can become a part of this annual tradition, for the  first time, we've gone global!

This year's educational campaign, "Exposed - the Facts about Asbestos" will be bigger and better than ever before, and we are coordinating seven days of
International initiatives to spread awareness about asbestos and asbestos-related disease.

Please join us in our education, advocacy, and community efforts as it is through our global community that we can truly make a difference.  Add your name to the growing list of Global Asbestos Awareness Week supporters and you can receive eNewsletter updates about our global campaign.  Share your story about how asbestos has affected you or a loved one and, in doing so, educate the public about the dangers of asbestos or offer hope to those suffering from asbestos-related diseases.   Make a list of friends with whom you can share Global Asbestos Awareness Week news.

And finally, join us for our "Light a Candle"tradition: Friday, April 1 in memory of those we have lost and Monday, April 7 in honor of loved ones battling asbestos related diseases. As you know, the strength of ADAO's community depends on the collective activism of its supporters.  There are so many ways to get involved.  Please join us in for Global Asbestos Awareness Week and help save lives.

Together we can make a difference.
