As the 7th Annual International Awareness Conference rapidly approaches, ADAO is especially thankful for the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, speakers, honorees, and of utmost importance, our sponsors. We could not do what we do for our growing global community if not for the support of these wonderful companies and individuals.

ADAO is also thrilled that the Senate has introduced legislation to dedicate April 1 - 7, 2011 as Global Asbestos Awareness Week! GLOBAL ASBESTOS AWARENESS WEEK
ADAO wants to applaud Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) and cosponsors for introducing a resolution to declare April 1 - 7, 2011 as "National Asbestos Awareness Week" to "raise public awareness about the prevalence of asbestos-related diseases and the dangers of asbestos exposure." Because of our global community and demand from around the world, ADAO would like to celebrate Global Asbestos Awareness Week (GAAW) on April 1 - 7. Join us as we spread awareness about this deadly carcinogen and see what a powerful force we can be when we work together.

 As part of Global Asbestos Awareness Week, please join us for our Light a Candle tradition to honor our friends and loved ones who have battled or are battling asbestos-related diseases. We light a virtual candle with love, support, and hope, and ask that you join us in creating an ever-extending community for our Mesothelioma Warriors around the world.

 We have been touched by asbestos in individual ways, yet we are joined by a common bond of community. As a testament to the strength of our global family, Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) is highlighting the courageous stories of our members with the new "Share Your Story" feature on our website.
This week, we would like to honor the story of Lonna. We are pleased that Lonna's daughters, Kim and Kristen, will be speaking at our 7th Annual International Asbestos Awareness Conference on April 1-3 in Atlanta. They will be sharing, "With Love Comes Hope."
