Don't miss SAFE Tours with Donny George

Former director of the Iraq Museums and renowned scholar Dr. Donny George Youkhanna shares his expertise in two SAFE Tours of Chicago's Oriental Institute Museum. He witnessed the looting of the Baghdad Museum, has fought tirelessly to help recover its stolen treasures, and is a recipient of the 2008 SAFE Beacon Award for his work. Drawing upon this unique experience, he will discuss the Oriental Institute Museum's remarkable - and ethically assembled - collection of Mesopotamian artifacts in two not-to-be-missed tours on January 6, 2008.

Perception findings are in...
Recently we asked you to help us determine how SAFE is perceived in an informal online survey. Thank you for participating; the survey is now closed. The objective was to determine your perception regarding the size, structure, direction and focus of the organization. We also wanted your opinion on the quality of our work, specifically the website and news & updates newsletter. To see the complete report, please click here.
Conducting surveys is an effective way to gauge our performance, tell us about yourself, what you want to read, and your preferences. In other words, what works and what needs work. Communicating with you in this way allows us to fine-tune our message, and plan our activities and programs strategically, with you in mind. In the coming months, we will be asking you to participate in a few more surveys. We hope that you will continue to help us in this way.
