Periodically, new information comes in just after an email goes out.  In this case, we thought the following two pieces of information were important enough to send out an update.

1. Arts Day has been moved from February 2 to February 24, 2010.

2. A Request For Proposals was just released for Eastwood Public Art with a deadline of February 15, 2010.

Eastwood RFP location
Request For Proposals
Outdoor Sculpture for Eastwood Commercial District

RFP Project Summary: Eastwood Tomorrow's Neighborhoods Today (TNT) Planning Council and the Syracuse Public Art Commission seek to commission a sculpture to be located on a site within the commercial core of historic Eastwood.  The total project budget is $6,000 for design, fabrication and installation.  The piece will become a part of the City of Syracuse's permanent art collection.  The Eastwood TNT Public Art Committee will administer the selection and installation process.

Made in NY 2010 at Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center Annual juried exhibition in Auburn open to artists residing in New York State.  Taking place March 27- May 16, 2010.  2010 Jurors: Joan Lyons & John Von Bergen. $25 entry fee for nonmembers; deadline January 15, 2010
