Greetings friends!
Thank you for taking a moment to check out what's happening at Rowan Tree Foundation. Our 4th Annual Butterfly Release was a few weeks ago and we were blessed yet again with the most lovely weather. Several people have asked to have the opening words that Corinne read about dandelions posted online, that will be coming soon. For those of you who were unable to attend, keepsake programs are being mailed to you in the coming days.
In this newsletter you'll find out we're about to reach a goal, we have a deadline approaching, and we're launching an exciting new initiative! Read on for details...

| ANGEL LANDSCAPING PROJECT |

 Exciting News!
We are so excited about this project that we can hardly contain ourselves!
Back in 2007 when we installed our Angel of Hope statue and the RTF Angel Memorial Plaza here in Parker, we were told that the grounds needed to remain plain and as natural as possible.
Well, things have changed! We've been working with the fabulous people at the Parker Public Works Department to develop a beautiful landscaping plan for our Memorial Plaza.
This plan includes trees, shrubbery, and other decorative plantings as well as paved cement from the bike path to surround the plaza.
We are still hammering out all the details on quantity and selection of everything needed for the project. Once we have that in hand, all of the details will be online for you to see.
We're going to need your help to get this done.

TILE ORDERS DUE AUG 1
| | August 1 - Next Due Date for Tiles
If you are planning to place an order for an engraved memorial tile, the next due date for orders is August 1, 2011.

The plan for these tiles is to have them installed in time for the December Memorial Event (Dec 3) but we've learned over the past two winters that the weather does not always cooperate. So this year, the due date for the fall order is being moved up, to AUG 1 with the hope that we'll have time to install them before the weather turns.
Please note: If we get hit with another arctic blast like we have the past two winters, these tiles will be on display during the December event and we will schedule the installation with the Spring 2012 order in time for our Butterfly Release.
You can scan, email, or paper-mail your order, pay online, call in your credit card, or mail a check. And as always, you can email us if you need a little help with the wording for your tile. Images of some of the existing tiles are online here if you want to see what others have done for their child's tile. |
| CHILD LOSS AWARENESS LICENSE PLATE | |
We are *so* close!
As of today, we only need another 541 signatures to complete our application for a child loss license plate for Colorado!
You do not have to have completely full sheets, a page with even one name counts. So, please download the flyer and help make this project a reality.
Help us collect signatures and mail the form to us. It's that simple!  We can't wait to make this license plate a reality and it WILL happen, with your help. The image here is not indicative of the actual plate, which has yet to be designed by the state. You are under no obligation to buy the license plate when it is available and there is no fundraising associated with this project. Your information will not be copied or used in any way by RTF. The signatures will be spot checked by the state of CO against DMV records to verify the authenticity of names of individuals signing the form.
