Greetings!

With our flurry of fundraising events behind us, I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of our volunteers and sponsors for their help and contributions in raising the money and awareness that we have over the past several weeks. To date, we are at the cusp of the $10,000 mark for the Memorial! Thank you for taking a moment to read about the things we have going on this Autumn.

With October being Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, there are typically so many opportunites to take part in public events that have been designed specifically to remember our babies that have been lost in pregnancy or as an infant. Memorials of every type seem to pepper the calendar through the month of October, and then once again in December as the Holidays approach. What is it that makes these events so popular? Why do we, the parents and loved ones of these lost babies, continue to gather each year? Why aren't we all "over this" by now?

3rd Annual Walk to Remember
Saturday, October 7, 2006

For three years now, a local organization has hosted a memorial walk at beautiful Clement Park in Littleton, CO. This year, we would like to do our part in spreading awareness of this moving and memorable event. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the local Denver SHARE chapter. Bring your wallet - you won't want to miss out on this silent auction!

A great big THANK YOU! to all of you who came out to support us and our first annual golf tournament. What a beautiful day we had! The feedback from the golfers and brunchers was all good, the club looked beautiful and the auction had some really terrific goodies.

Unfortunately, golfer turnout was lower than expected, and so that directly affected the level of fundraising that we were able to achieve. Not to be discouraged, we are keeping our eye on the big goal - and after all of the events and fundraising to date, we have raised just under $10,000 for the Angel Memorial Project! We are proud of everything we've accomplished, and can't wait to report more success to you very soon. Check back for pictures from all of our recent events and a recap of the day's events.
Did you have a chance to visit the Secret Club Project Exhibit in Parker? If you did then I want to hear from you! Share your reaction and feelings from the exhibit via email, today!

Please let us know if you had an opportunity to visit this popular and moving exhibit.

Thank you for your continued interest and support in Rowan Tree Foundation!
