Rosetta ThurmanRosettaThurman, principal consultant at Washington, DC-based Thurman Consulting, answers this question on May 4 when she will be at The Rhode Island Foundation to lead the Initiative for Nonprofit Excellence session, "Work with Me: How to Get the Best Out of All Four Generations in the Nonprofit Workforce."
 
In the Chronicle of Philanthropy blog, Give and Take, Ms. Thurman suggests that nonprofit leaders "involve and work closely with younger generations to help prepare them...it's important to realize that new ideas are the only thing that will help nonprofits to survive in the coming years, so it's in nonprofits' best interest to cultivate younger generations..."
