Resources for Rhode Islanders affected by the floods
 

The Foundation has compiled the following list of resources for individuals and organizations affected by the flooding in Rhode Island. If you are aware of additional resources, please email Jean Cohoon; the resource will be added to the flood assistance resources page on our website.

FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) - How to apply for disaster assistance: Rhode Island Severe Storms and Flooding

SBA (US Small Business Administration) - Low interest disaster assistance loans

RIEDC (Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation) - Emergency Flood Fund provides loans for manufacturers, retailers, and selected service companies (including nonprofit organizations)

Rhode Island Bar Association - no-fee legal assistance through the Bar's Lawyer Referral Service; contact Susan Fontaine, (401) 421-7722, ext. 101

Craft Emergency Relief Fund - assistance to help sustain a craft artist's career when an emergency occurs
