Article1Thank you, Trinity patrons!

CabaretFollowing an outstanding performance of the awarding-winning musical Cabaret at Trinity Repertory, theatre patrons responded generously to requests for support of Equity Action.  Cabaret star Joe Wilson, Jr., a member of Equity Action's Million Dollar Challenge Campaign Committee, addressed the audience about the importance of Equity Action to the LGBTQ community.  He called Sally Lapides, campaign committee chair, to the stage to speak about her commitment to equality as a civil rights issue.

LGBT Night also featured a pre-show reception that provided a forum for Foundation President and CEO Neil Steinberg to share information on Equity Action's work in the community.  The reception was sponsored by Edye DeMarco of Merrill Lynch, a campaign committee member, and J. C. Standish of Lighthouse Financial Group.

Equity Action wishes to thank generous theatre-goers who contributed $1,363 at the event; reception sponsors Ms. DeMarco and Mr. Standish; host Trinity Rep; and Frank Maher, director of major gifts at Trinity, for his help in organizing the evening.
