The Right Thing

Sometimes we waffle over what to do in a difficult situation simply because we're reluctant to do what we know we have to do. Maybe there's some sacrifice we don't really want to make. Maybe we're afraid we might alienate someone. Maybe we just don't want to put out the effort it's going to take.
So we procrastinate - asking for advice, weighing alternative, hoping we'll find some way out of the situation. This is usually a futile exercise; we still have to do the right thing.
As we begin yet another year full of hope and promise, think about those things that you want to do. Keep them in your sights and take steps to make them happen.
