Maureen and Alan Aulson invite the public to enjoy a
unique Carriage Driving event in their hometown of
Georgetown, MA on Saturday, September 27 from
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. titled "A Day of Driving,
Featuring Dressage and Cones." The Aulsons
are co-sponsoring the event with the North Shore-
based Myopia Driving Club. The event will take place
at 214 North Street in Georgetown, MA, hosted
by Pete and Rosaleen Zibell.
Event admission is free. General Parking is available
by donation to ERIE 4 Volunteer Fire Dept, and a
limited number of Reserved Tailgating Spaces with
great event-views are available for a suggested $20+
donation. (Advance reservations are encouraged for
tailgating spaces; call event coordinator Pam Biggi to
reserve at 603-944-2158.) Event proceeds will benefit
Myopia Driving Club and the ERIE 4 Volunteer Fire
Dept.
The Zibell's farm is a northern extension of Black
Prong, the internationally-renowned equestrian
training and event center in Bronson, Florida. The
dressage ring was created by Wayne Winters and Bill
Wilson, who created the rings at the Florida facility.
Marc Johnson, Black Prong's Course Designer, is
designing two cones courses for the event, featuring
Black Prong's signature 2-part course layout.
"We invite the public to bring their friends and family
and make a fun day of it," explains Alan. "This unique
event is fun and exciting to watch, and it's also a
beautiful time of year to tailgate and picnic - whether
people bring their own lunch, or choose to support the
fundraiser by purchasing food at the event."
We look forward to seeing you there!
