IAEP's Revolutionary Theories Sweep Across US & Abroad! | |
Sound Reasoning ~ Sound Horses More and more horse owners and professionals in the U.S. and abroad are on fire as they discover the logical and SOUND REASONING of the theories taught by IAEP.

KC has just wrapped up an extensive spring schedule, teaching courses in the United Kingdom, France, Pennsylvania and Florida.
The eagerness of his students to learn new and better methods to care for their own horses' hooves and those of their clients, continues to reinforce KC's dedication to his life's work. KC is invigorated knowing how many more people are taking responsibility for their horses' well-being and health.
Course Success in KC's own words:
In France: Thank you Xavier and Laura for all your hard work, you both went far and beyond the call of duty, and it is much appreciated. I truly enjoyed the course and everyone in attendance. I so hope that things will continue to grow in France. I have spoken with Robyn, and we are very willing to do whatever it takes to see AEP thrive in France.
In the UK: A special thanks to Karen Beaumont, DAEP for all her hard work, also thank you Tim Mockford, DAEP, Jo Grimes, DAEP, Colette Meade, DAEP and Trevor Jones, DAEP for your help in keeping unity amongst the UK DAEP. Your work in support of AEP at the government level is truly appreciated. It was good to see so many DAEP in attendance, and even though I have not listed you all, your input and support is very much appreciated.
SOUND HORSES are the goal for KC's extensive theories, methods and applications, which he teaches to his students through IAEP 5-day courses.

Hitchin Herts, United Kingdom - March 21-25, 2009
A successful spring of IAEP courses began in the United Kingdom on March 21.
The Hitchin Herts course has always been a wonderful course, and the March course was no exception. Our host Peter and June Scott of Model Farm provide an ideal environment for learning. Model Farm (a Polo yard) offers our students the opportunity to work on shoeless performance horses.
There were eighteen students in attendance, with 8 DAEP attending for continued education. Having such a large number of DAEP in attendance always brings out the best in KC. He introduced a PowerPoint presentation that included information on his new frog spine theories.
Congratulations to Tracy Wyatt, DAEP, Dip MCAM, Dip MCST, EBW. of Newmarket. Tracy did a fine job on her final exams. She will be covering East Anglia. Welcome to the AEP Family. We will be returning to Hitchin, Herts, UK in October of this year. We hope to see you there!

Rennes, France - March 27-31, 2009
KC continued his lectures abroad with a well-received course in France before heading back to the U.S.
Our first course in France was a great success with eighteen students in attendance. KC's lecture was interpreted by Xaiver Meal, DAEP. Xaiver did a wonderful job.
A Special thanks to Laura Redon, DAEP, for all her help in setting up the course.
We are pleased to announce that we have launched a French translation of our homepage. http://www.appliedequinepodiatry.org/iaep/index_french.html

And watch for more courses to be schedule in France! |
Allentown, PA - April 22-26, 2009 Shortly after returning home, KC traveled north for another exciting course in Pennsylvania.
We returned to Allentown, Pa. again this spring. We have been holding course at Willow Brook Farm for the past five years. Our host Peter Fuller has always been very accommodating, A special thanks to Whip, the farm's manager. There were eighteen students in attendance, with nine DAEP attending for continued education.
Lecture days were held at the Four Points Hotel, where KC was asked to tone things down a bit, as his passion was interfering with the seminar being held in the adjoining room! The lecture next door was a motivational seminar! For those of you that know KC, he is very passionate about AEP and it always shows during his lectures.
A special thanks the Days End Rescue for bringing several of their horses for students to work on. All the horses in attendance were well behaved and a pleasure to trim. Well done Days End!
We are excited to announce that several of the students in attendance at this course signed up as full-time students.
We just want to say welcome and congratulation on taking on the responsibility of Whole Horse Hoof Care.

Old Town, FL - May 9-13, 2009 Back in Florida, KC and Robyn welcomed students to their new facilities for the last of their spring courses.
The spring Old Town course was well attended, with fourteen students sharing in the experience.
KC was in great form, taking the opportunity to stray from the normal curriculum, offering the students a broader view of AEP. Informative discussions went well into the evening on most days.
A free PHW wet lab was held, with each student in attendance applying the PHW to the hooves they trimmed during the course. Special uses for the SoleMate Therapeutic Hoof Pads were also discussed. Trim day was held at the Horse Protection Association of Florida.
Eight students chose to utilize the Institute's B&B dorm accommodations. Our guests enjoyed sitting on the front porch, taking in the beautiful sunsets and star-filled nights.
Congratulations to Laura Castanos, DAEP, of Williston, Florida, and Katharina Jay, DAEP, of Catalunya, Spain. Both students passed their final exams with flying colors! Welcome to the AEP family. We invite everyone to visit the Institute's Florida campus, and experience all that AEP has to offer. Experience it like no where else in the world!
