Greetings!

"I release the past to open myself to the future."

~ Deepak Chopra

As the year draws to a close and we enter winter, a time for drawing inward and preparing for what is to come, I always take some time to reflect on what this year has given me and what I'd like for the year to come to bring.

Some of you are familiar with the process I enjoy, and for others of you it is new. Whichever you are, I invite you to join me in this process that I call "Out With the Old and In With the New".

In the past, when we were closer to the earth in our daily life, we naturally integrated with the cycles of nature and had a more conscious relationship with endings and new beginnings.  We had time to reflect as we came indoors and prepared for the work of spring.  As we have separated from nature in our daily lives, it has become up to us to consciously choose ways to maintain a connection with the natural cycles of life.

Whether you decide to join me in my process, or you choose another that is more to your liking, make some time as the year draws to a close to pause and reflect on your life.  Be sure you honor yourself for the things you have done, changes you have made, ways you have grown, etc.  All too often we forget that part and just notice the things we didn't do. Make it a balanced assessment, be honest with yourself, be kind, and (above all) have fun!

Wishing you many things to be proud of and to look forward to in the coming year-
