Making a Difference award:
This month Live Well Winona recognizes the Hardy family for the incredible relationship they are building with an elementary school boy through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. John and Amanda have two children of their own, but make time every week to spend an hour with their Little Brother. They participate in a lot of outdoor recreation and visit the YMCA. According to Amanda, "time speaks volumes" and "cool things happen" when you make this commitment and take the time to build such a unique relationship.
