Winona Family YMCA - featured resource of the month:
Winona Family YMCA
The Winona Family YMCA is our featured resource of the month. Why? Because it's amazing!!!

Fitness classes, tons of programs for kids, clinics, cardio and strength training equipment, sport leagues, racquetball courts, pools, gyms, and more. PLUS they gave away $123,000 in financial assistance last year. That
money helped almost 500 additional community members enjoy the benefits of that great facility and fun programming. What's their target audience? YOU! "The Y is for everybody" Andy Blomsness, Executive Director.

So don't let yourself get caught up in excuses. Go check it out:

Making a Difference award:

For the month of March we are recognizing the efforts of the 3rd and 4th grade students of Jefferson School and their physical education teacher Mary Cappel. These creative students took top prize in the first annual statewide "Fitness is Elementary" content. They were awarded $500 in sporting equipment for designing fun and healthy games. Congratulations!
