April 24th Austin Council Connection Recap

We welcomed Jana Owen with Freedom Personal Development. Her workshop is in collaboration with a book written by Joe Abraham, "Entrepreneurial DNA," which helped us all start the process of finding our entrepreneurial DNA and how that impacts our business, our leadership, and our relationships.

We found out the key traits of the four personality types of entrepreneurs and how to work with them, or avoid them in our business dealings with others.

Everyone was enlightened and walked away with a new understanding of how to make the most of our personality type and the relationships we need to build to be better business leaders and succeed in business.

Jana and her company offer a large variety of workshops and seminars, to help business people improve themselves personally, in business, and in the balance of the two.

The WBCS exhibited at the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce's 2012 Arkansas Procurement Opportunities Conference on April 24, 2012. There were over 500 small business attendees and close to 50 exhibitors.

This conference connects business owners to selling opportunities with governments and the private industry. It also provides a unique opportunity for businesses to meet with corporate and government purchasing contacts.
