ACTIVate your School with the Acts of Random Physical Activity Challenge from Communities ChooseWellchoose well

The Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) and Communities ChooseWell invite schools across Alberta to celebrate June is Recreation and Parks Month by engaging in Acts of Random Physical Activity (ARPA ... get it?!). The goal of Acts of Random Physical Activity is to encourage Albertans to integrate spontaneous acts of physical activity into their daily lives. This initiative also complements Alberta's Daily Physical Activity (DPA) policy for grade 1-9 schools to provide at least 30 minutes of daily physical activity. Participating classes or schools will be entered to win great prizes, such as equipment or resources to support physical education and/or DPA.

for information on how to register your class or school and lots of ideas to get started! If you are unable to open the attachment or have questions about the initiative, please contact Communities ChooseWell at 1-877-544-1747 or choosewell@arpaonline.ca.
