Greetings!
Welcome to the premier issue of PING. We are excited to be able to bring this new (for us) form of communication to your inbox.
We plan initially to publish PING on a monthly basis. But we also hope to bring out periodic special editions when we have late breaking news we want to share.
We value your opinion and actively seek your feedback. So please send us your comments so we can make the news letter better and provide you with content that is useful for you.
So, if there is a particular topic you would like to explore, an aspect of submarine history that really interests you, anything related to US Submarine history, let us know and we'll put something together.

2010 at the Submarine Museum
Museum Attendance up 9% year to date
A combination of targeted marketing, plentiful weekend activities for kids, and reasonable weather, have all resulted in increased attendance at the Submarine Force Museum and Historic Ship Nautilus during 2010. As of the end of October we have already surpassed the attendance for all of 2009 and are on track for the best attendance in four years.
This past weekend alone we enjoyed the company of 1,200 kids and their parents for a Halloween party that featured a pumpkin scavenger hunt, spooky crafts and a tour of Haunted Ship Nautilus. |

Support Our Sandy Submariners
Here is a chance to reach out to submarine sailors who are currently putting it all on the line in Iraq and Afghanistan. Help us put together care-packages to send to those who are helping to maintain our freedoms. |
