Day of the Dead Party

On Wednesday, November 2, friends of the family helped us kick-off the start of our 3rd year and celebrated Day of the Dead!

In addition to great food and drinks, Tu Casa en Vallarta also had a fabulous Day of the Dead altar.   Julie, Jos Alfredo and the entire No Way Jos! team invited guests to bring a memento that represented a memory of someone they wanted to honor to add to the altar.  The final altar was amazing!  Gracias to all to who celebrated with us  whether in person or in spirit.

Pippian Chicken
When you combine toasted pumpkin and sesame seeds and puree and cook them with jalapeo and guero chile peppers, you create a nutty, slightly piquant sauce that while in the family of Mexican mols, gives you a different taste sensation from the traditional mol poblano. Don't wait to try this delicious NWJ! favorite the next time you visit. Paired with a glass of one of our favorite Mexican wines - the Petit Syrah, L. A. Cetto - this combo truly gives you a mexican contemporary dining experience that brings you the old world flavors of Mexico a la No Way Jos!
