Olympic Athletes Receive Regular Sports Massage To Maximize Their Performance

Every four years, the world watches as the Summer Olympics are held somewhere in the world. Athletes compete in running, swimming, gymnastics, basketball and so many other sports. Watching them is both inspiring and motivational. How do they do it? Stretch and push their bodies to such extreme limits and amazing feats? They do it with years of hard work, discipline, sweat - and a lot of massage therapy! Olympic athletes recognize that massage is not a luxury - it is an essential part of their overall health, fitness and performance. A certified massage therapist is actually a part of the official medical team. How about you? Are you an amateur athlete, pushing your body to the limit? Try receiving massage on a regular basis and see if it doesn't improve both your performance and recovery plus  help to prevent injuries.

 "Restore Your Soul"

Welcome to August - the last official month of summer!  Soon it will be fall and time to go back to the craziness of work and school.   I hope you will take some time to get away by yourself to restore your soul. For me, I relax and refresh myself by the water. My husband, Larry, retreats to his "treehouse" in our front yard (where he works and relaxes). Some of my friends go for walks in the woods and some go running. Others escape with a good book and a glass of iced tea. Whatever it is, you deserve it and you need it for your health and wellness.   If your tank is empty, you have nothing to give to others.  On your next visit to SolSpring, plan to spend a few extra minutes relaxing in the sauna or solarium to renew your soul.

Sam Adams, Certified Professional Rolfer, is at SolSpring in August - Schedule Your Visit Today
