The Ridge at Chenal Valley - Public Meeting Tonight!
| The following is a letter about the plans for a new apartment development on Chenonceau Boulevard. Most of your Bayonne Board members plan to attend both of the upcoming meetings. However, we encourage all Bayonne neighbors to be present, if possible. This will be our chance to voice our opinions, objections, etc.
My name is Joe White. I'm an engineer with White-Daters & Associates, Inc.
We are working on an apartment project on Chenonceau Boulevard that is adjacent to Bayonne. We have submitted a site plan for the next Planning Commission docket which meets on December 16th.
The developer has asked me to arrange a meeting with both the Aberdeen and Bayonne neighborhoods so that he can show you his plans and answer any questions that you might have.
The Ridge at Chenal Valley is the name of the project. It is going to be an up-scale apartment development with a clubhouse, pool and gated entrance.
We have arranged a meeting space at the Thompson Library on Rahling Circle for Tuesday night, November 23rd at 6:00. We would love for anyone from your neighborhood that is interested to come visit with us. We will have a representative from the Little Rock Planning staff present as well.
Please let me know if you and some of you neighbors are available to join us.
You can email me or call me at my office number which is 821-1667.
I look forward to talking with you.

2011 City of Little Rock Fiscal Budget Meeting - December 2nd, 7-8 pm
| Bayonne Place POA Residents, The email below is from Lance Hines, Little Rock City Director-Elect for Ward 5. Director -Elect Hines needs our support in attendance at a public comment meeting concerning the 2011 City of Little Rock Fiscal Budget. We need our voices from west Little Rock to be heard. From: Lance Hines [mailto:lancehines@me.com] Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2010 4:18 PM Subject: 2011 Little Rock Fiscal Budget Public Meetings**Urgent** With the help of Michael Keck at last night's Board of Director's meeting we were able to get a West Little Rock location for public comment on the 2011 City of Little Rock Fiscal Budget. It will be Thursday, December 2nd at Thompson library on Rahling Circle from 7-8pm. The city had left us out because they said they had not had very good attendance from West Little Rock in the past at these meetings. Michael and I assured them that we would have a good crowd for them. It is critical that we give our input on accountability of our money where City spending is concerned and that West Little is not ignored any longer. We are a powerful voting block but we must make our voices heard. This means everyone participating in our city government. Crime Alert! - Break-In at 17 Essay Drive
| We have had a short reprieve from the car break-ins of last year. Unfortunately, it appears the thief's are at it again. We received the following crime report from Liz Perry of 17 Essay Drive. Please be vigilant and park cars in garages whenever possible and do not leave any valuables in your car.
Liz wrote: I just wanted to let the POA know that we experienced some criminal activity last night. The window of our van, sitting in the driveway, was smashed in and my husband's wallet was stolen (he forgot to pull his car in the garage last night and left his wallet in view). My nephew's car, also in the driveway, was broken into and they tried to steal his stereo, but were unsuccessful. However, the dash was nearly ripped out. Just wanted everyone to be aware and on the lookout. We have filed a police report.
