More Mail Theft
Reported April 14, 2010
The following report is from Michael Baxley, resident of Margeaux Place

At 2:30 (Tuesday, April 13th) I saw a white Lexus with black tinted windows, two black males opening mailboxes, and pulling out what was inside, and then either putting mail back or driving to the next box. I got in the car and followed them to the back of Laval, which at that point they saw me and speed away.

I photographed the car leaving the neighborhood, and chased them down highway 10 east till they got to Pleasant Ridge Rd, took a right, and I lost them down in all the apartments and condos.

I called the police.

Police report - 2010-37612

Lexus in mail theft

Previously Reported April 12,2010
The following alert is from Don Edwards, POA President, of Duquesne.

Today (Friday, April 9) the mail was taken from mail boxes about 10:00 am on
Bouresse Dr. and I don't know what others. The police has been notified and
we have given them the tag number of a red truck involved in the act. The
thieves took the checks from at least two boxes.  We need to notify other
residents in case they need to make special arrangements with their banks.
