Paul Harris, the Founder of Rotary=

 

This month, no words from Paul Harris, but something about his family.

"It has sometimes been written that Paul Harris's ancestors arrived on the Mayflower'.......and it is true.  This is the line of descent.  All early dates are subject to correction especially because of changes in the calendar.

Paul Harris, born Racine, WI, April 19 1868; married Jean Thomson in Chicago July 2, 1910; died Chicago January 27, 1947


Paul was the son of George Howard Harris and Cornelia Bryan.
George Howard Harris born Wallingford, VT, 1842;   married Cornelia Bryan May 12, 1864; died Denver 1926
Cornelia Bryan born Olean, NY, April 2, 1843; married George Howard Harris May 12, 1864; died Denver 1920
Cornelia was the daughter of Henry Bryan and Larissa Forbes (or Fobes)"
