Breaking news occurred 11 March. The world witnessed the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, which occurred with countless lives lost and uncalculated damages.  Although the Our Foundation Newsletter was already posted, we added 12 additional pages (pp 39 to 50) reporting this catastrophe and re-posted the newsletter.  www.ourfoundation.info

 

In this April 2011 issue (#106) we cover The Rotary Foundation's immediate response to the earthquake and tsunami and we advise which highly rated and effective charities (in addition to TRF) for you and your club and districts to consider.

The theme for this APRIL issue is: Heroes/Rotary Warriors and in it I cover the Polio Eradication Campaign, Bill Gates, TRF Fund-raising, VTTs, Rotary's Peace Program, Ambassadorial Scholars, and more.

 

Where do we go?  What we do?  How do we use the money raised through TRF and Rotary's manpower? 

 

Without doubt the money Rotarians raise helps make the world a better place.
