I invite you all to open the latest issue of Our Foundation Newsletter and simply clicking on the 'new' June 2010 issue.

In this month's edition we highlight Rotary's Kick Polio Out of Africa initiative which is designed to coincide with the FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Many famous football (soccer) stars have signed up to the campaign in association with our Polio Eradication partners. Football plays a large part in this edition. The world's most popular game can be used to bring people together in much the same way as we come together through our Rotary clubs.

It is always heartening to receive some brief reports on successful projects carried out by Rotary Clubs in your name and we highlight some great stories here. We must all keep our eyes out to find and report on such success stories for they are the real selling point of the Foundation.

There is also uplifting stories on our Foundation alumni who are continuing to give back to Rotary and the world.

As always, we welcome any comments you may have as strive to improve and increase our ability to tell the stories.
