Greetings!

Paul HarrisWhat Paul Harris Said for June 2010

"... Did your board of directors act wisely in concluding to hold the convention this year as usual? Who can doubt it? If there was to be just one convention to be held in the present decade, I would be of those who with fervor would say, "Let it be in the year of 1917," for this is the year of Rotary's greatest opportunity.
This is our first war convention; may it also be our last."
-PAUL P. HARRIS, Chicago, Ill. more....

All of us are aware of the close of another year. For many it is the start of a new adventure, new responsiblities. For a few, it's an end. It was a lot of work and we're just glad it's over. If you study the Global History of Rotary, you may find your second wind.

Rotarian (the late) Maynard Buehler, Orinda, California, USA, once told me his reason for 35 years of perfect attendance. "It's the friendships... It's been going on for a long time, and I hope it goes on a lot longer." (Orinda Video from 1984)

Don't be a stranger; greet a Rotarian today, at your club, on the street, or at the House of Friendship in Montreal. RGHF will be at booth 2425.

Yours for Rotary's Global History,

Jack M. B. Selway, Founder, and CEO
