Advocacy Update: Underpasses

The effort to add underpasses to the Charles River bridges that will be restored (Anderson, Western Avenue, and River Street Bridge) continues.  MassDOT board members requested a briefing on adding underpasses as the bridges' renovations across the Charles are being planned.

Conservancy president, Renata von Tscharner, and other advocates testified at the September 7th MassDOT board meeting.  Click here to read her testimony.  And use this link to make YOUR voice heard by adding your name to the list of supporters, which includes 28 elected officials, 31 organizations, and over 600 citizens.  For more information visit the Conservancy's website.
